Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the ChangeSignoff founding pilot. By creating an account or approving a change order, you agree to the terms that apply to your role.
1. Pilot service
ChangeSignoff helps small contractors document scope, price and schedule changes and request client approval. The pilot may change, experience interruptions or be discontinued as we learn from early users.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the email account used to access ChangeSignoff and for activity performed through your session. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or an approval link has been compromised.
3. Contractor responsibilities
Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of client details, scope, pricing, taxes, schedule impact and other job information. You must provide the real client's contact information, must not verify or approve on a client's behalf, must have authority to send the information you enter and must comply with contracts, licensing rules and laws that apply to your work.
4. Client verification and approvals
A recorded approval is bound to a verified client email and captures the typed name, time and privacy-safe technical checks shown in the approval record. A warning may be attached when contractor and client signals overlap, but these checks do not establish government identity or prevent every misuse. ChangeSignoff does not guarantee that a record satisfies every jurisdiction’s electronic-signature, construction-contract or consumer-notice requirements. Obtain legal advice for your contracts and local requirements.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use ChangeSignoff to send spam, impersonate another person, distribute malware, violate privacy rights, misrepresent work or pricing, or break the law. Do not probe, disrupt or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of information you enter. You give us permission to host, process, back up and transmit that information only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to provide it.
7. Our service and intellectual property
ChangeSignoff, its design, software and branding belong to us or our licensors. The pilot gives you a limited, revocable right to use the service for your business. Feedback may be used to improve the product without restriction or compensation.
8. Availability and suspension
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or maintain the service.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The pilot is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or disputes between contractors and clients. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
10. Ending use and changes
You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may update these terms as the pilot develops; material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Applicable law governs any rights that cannot be limited by these terms.
